Chocolate Mousse Cake Recipe: Required Ingredients
For Sponge
• 2 eggs
• 2 ounce caster sugar
• 1 ½ ounce all purpose flour (maida)
• ½ ounce cocoa powder
• ¼ tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp vanilla essence
For Filling
• 3 eggs
• 200 g sugar (powdered)
• 200 g chocolate
• 200 g fresh cream
• 1 ½ tbsp gelatin powder
Chocolate Mousse Cake Recipe: Cooking Instructions Sponge Cake
1. Break two eggs in a bowl, add caster sugar and beat well.
2. Add vanilla essence and beat again.
3. Stir all purpose flour, cocoa powder and baking powder in another bowl.
4. Now add it into the eggs mixture and combine gragually.
5. Take a round pan cake and greese it from inner side.
6. Pour the prepared mixture in greesed pan and bake it in preheated (to 180 degree) oven for 25 minutes.
7. Take the sponge cake out from the oven, let it cool down and cut into two slices.
Filling
1. Break three eggs in a bowl, add powdered sugar in it and beat well.
2. Melt the chocolate, add it into the egg mixture and mix thoroughly.
3. Mix geletin powder in a little warm water and add it into the fresh cream.
4. Now add this mixture into the egg mixture gradually while mixing.
Final Step
1. Add the prepared mixture onto one sponge slice, then place second slice over it.
2. Place the cake in fridge till freeze.
3. The delicious chocolate mousse cake is ready now. Gernish it with fresh cream, cocoa powder and chocolate and serve.
